Several Opportunities Available to Play Boys Volleyball this Fall

Leagues available for ES, MS and HS Boys - Register in Aug & Sep

The fall provides several opportunities for ES, MS & HS boys to play competitive volleyball. The season runs from mid-September through mid-November

ES & MS Boys

The NoVA Boys Volleyball League had its largest season in 2017 (17 teams, 175 boys, 35 coaches) and plans to build on it in 2018.  Boys can sign up with one of the following youth sports organizations:

  • McLean Youth Athletics 
  • Arlington Youth Volleyball
  • Evolution Volleyball Club (Alexandria)
  • Braddock Road Volleyball 
  • Chantilly Youth Volleyball 
  • Fort Hunt Youth Volleyball

HS Boys

HS Boys play in the NoVA HS Boys Volleyball League (NVHSBVL). It is a fun and competitive league with teams formed around regional High Schools. The fall 2017 season saw a record level of participation, with representation from the following schools: 

  • Broad Run HS
  • Champe HS
  • Chantilly HS (2x)
  • Falls Church HS
  • Heritage HS
  • Madison HS
  • McLean HS (2x)
  • Riverside HS
  • South Lakes HS
  • West Potomac HS
  • West Springfield HS
  • TC Williams HS
  • Woodson HS

Additional schools that are planning to form teams for the upcoming fall 2018 season include:

  • Briar Woods HS
  • Lake Braddock SS
  • Thomas Jefferson HS
  • Tuscarora HS

Note that you don't have to attend the school to play on one of the teams.
