Winter Volleyball Opportunities

Winter is Coming, so Warm Up on a Court

Just because the fall rec leagues are finishing up and club tryouts are done, that doesn't mean the volleyball fun has to stop. There are numerous coed volleyball clinics and programs being held over the winter.

Areyto Mini-Volley (Coed Ages 6-12) - A Tuesday afternoon "short court" training program for boys and girls using special rules to help train beginner players. Held at the Potomac Athletic Center in Ashburn. Register here.

CVC Winter Program (Coed All Ages) - Registration is open for this Saturday clinic being held Nov. 23 through Mar. 14 at Rachel Carson Middle School and Floris Elementary School in Herndon.  Contact Melissa Fedors for more information.

Monument Volleyball 12U Cadets (Boys born on or after 9/1/07) - A new 12U Boys club team introducing boys to club play and volleyball overall. Practices will be held on Mondays at the Fairfax Sportsplex and Sundays at TISCOM from Dec-May and the team will compete in 6-7 tournaments. No tryout required. NVVA Galaxy League (Coed Ages 8-15) - Teams form up and practice twice a week (Mon/Fri) over an 8 week long season followed by an End of Season Tournament at the Virginia Volleyball Center in Sterling. The next season begins November 18. Visit for more information.

SYA Winter Clinics (Coed All Ages) - A Tuesday evening clinic for boys and girls in grades 4 - 12 being held Jan - Feb. Contact for more information.

WLVBC SSS Program (Coed Ages 9-17) - A Saturday afternoon clinic for boys and girls ages 9 - 17 being held Jan - Mar at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville.
